Health check for cats

Your cat's teeth will be checked as well as its ears. Then all lymph nodes will be checked to see if they are normal in size. Finally, the heart and lungs will be listened to with a stethoscope and checked for any abnormalities. If your pet is declared healthy, the necessary vaccinations will be discussed with you.

Vaccinations in cats

  • Cat flu.
  • Sneezing disease.
  • Bordetella and chlamydia.
  • Rabies.
  • FeLV.

Vaccination schedule as we use it in our practice
Please note: the schedule is shown up to 7 years, after that vaccinations are still necessary for protection. We use the same schedule as the years before (so once every 3 years cat flu + sneezing disease and the years in between only sneezing disease)

    Preparing for the appointment; make sure your pet is comfortable in a carrier or on a leash.

    Arrive at your appointment on time, have your pet examined, follow the veterinarian's recommendations and make a follow-up appointment at our counter if necessary.
